Lighthouse

If I had to fight the might of the sea,
I would seek out the shining light that beams.
From far away, so close so it seems,
the bright light ahead in my life that awaits me.
If I were lost in the dark night at sea,
I would look to the stars that were hiding from me,
then look to the mighty light that shines just to guide me.

If I was being tossed by the sea
in all directions and unable to see
I would look for that light in the sky
and the light in my life that awaits me.
A Lighthouse is a safe house...follow the light!
