Commission Art: How does it work?
I can work with a theme to create a work of art that will show off your personal interests or meet your specific needs. I can work with specific contributed components if you wish that will personalize a piece for you. Have you ever wanted to show off a family heirloom but could not find it tucked away somewhere? These types of objects make great components for a work of art that will be specifically created for you, with you in mind.
You may choose a theme or have an idea in mind. For example, if your theme is Sports, you may want to contribute that old bat or ball.
It is not necessary however that you contribute components. You can leave that up to me. All you need is a place in mind to show your new art.
You may desire a free standing floor piece or a wall piece , a hanging piece or perhaps something for the table, Indoors or outdoors, you decide!
I have also been asked to create memorial pieces to honor someone in their memory and I am happy and honored to do so.
What will it cost?
The minimum cost involved for custom commissioned work is $2500.00.
I can work within your budget. You will decide how much you would like to invest.
A written agreement will be provided and a good faith deposit of $500.00 or more will be required.
The cost of shipping and insurance is not included. Deliveries and installations will be charged separately.
The time involved to create custom work may vary. A minimum of three months is often required.
All agreed on balances are due upon completion of the work.
