He knows the risks involved and will bust his axe to get the gold. He carries his trusty oil can and wood mallet while holding tight to his axe.

The Tin Woodsman Axe has "Master Mechanic" stamped into the blade head.
The non-functional gold pocket watch is timeless quartz 1928 replica.
The fabricated oil can features a "Gold Medal Oils" label. Kunz Oil Co. Minneapolis. "Good for the North ~ Since 1888"
The brass heart on a string has been made from old wind instrument valve parts.
